What our former interns say:
Business Student (Ingolstadt-Guangzhou)
Intern Early 2016
“Helis & Associates is a small team with six employees. As an intern, you make contact easily, the colleagues are friendly and helpful.”
“Business trips are not only done by the boss himself. The whole Helis & Associates team including two interns travelled to Sichuan in April for a business conference held by H&A. Working as an intern at Helis & Associates means to take responsibility: Conducting market analyses for clients, preparing presentations and communicate with stakeholders.”
“You will have personal contact with high-rank politicians and managers from Europe and China. Helis & Associates cooperates with high-level representatives for its business conferences – for example with former vice-chancellor and foreign minister of Germany Joschka Fischer.”

“I was an intern at Helis & Associates for three months and I quickly became a part the open and smart team. I like how interns are treated just like full-time associates and get assigned actual and meaningful tasks which are crucial and beneficial to the company's success."
"Everyone here gets the big chance to contribute and implement innovative ideas. Right in the first week after I arrived here, I had the opportunity to take part in a business trip to a conference in Zhejiang. I gained a lot of knowledge and met with many German business leaders in China.”
“Foshan is a wonderful city, which definitely exceeded my expectations. Also, Cantonese people, cuisine and culture differ strongly from what I saw in the rest of China. The Pearl River Delta Region is an economic powerhouse and the right place to jump into business."

"When I arrived in Foshan to work at H&A, I was so nervous. Luckily, it very quickly became clear that the H&A team is made of only the friendliest people, and I learned to love the open environment. Being an intern at H&A, I felt just as valued and respected as the other members of the team, and was encouraged to bring in my own ideas and skills."

"I was fortunate enough to arrive just in time to help prepare a conference which was not only attended by high-level representatives of companies such as Nestlé and Siemens, but also by the Ambassador of the European Union to China and Mongolia. This gave me the chance to see the behind-the-scenes work in preparing such a huge event, and to really become a part of the team in the process. Of course, attending the conference and meeting all these people was just as amazing."

"I definitely recommend this internship to anyone who wants to be part of a wonderful team and who is open to new experiences and ideas. I learned more at H&A than I ever hoped I would, and I will dearly miss the colleagues I was able to work with these past 3 months."
B.Sc. Economics (Münster - Germany)
Intern Late 2018
"I was lucky not only with the warm welcome I received from the H&A Team, but also that I was able to assist in several projects during my three month internship. The integration process was very smooth and I was already able to support the team after only a few days on the ground.
My most memorable experience was to see one project through from scratch to the final stages. I had a lot of responsibilities during the whole process, some of which included drafting contracts and coordinating with the customer and the third party supplier. In the end I joined the Team for a three day event in Shenzhen, which was a great way to see everything we had been working on for the previous weeks.”

"In addition, I helped to assist several guests at the biggest European & Guangdong Province conference in Shenzhen, where we stayed for two days.
The best trip was to Jiaozou in Henan Province, where we attended an investment promotion conference and helped to promote the region for German cooperation. We stayed for three days and were able to go sightseeing on the last day.
A helpful bonus was the apartment, which has everything I needed and is very close to the office in Foshan. In addition, you can get everything needed for daily life in the immediate area and you can be downtown in less than 30 Minutes."
